How well did the Town oversee Allo?

My mission to understand the issues that matter most to Erie residents as our election nears continues with how the Town of Erie manages third-party operators within our neighborhoods - specifically Allo.

The Town of Erie is accountable for how third parties operate within our neighborhoods. This past year, the project that had the single largest number of direct interactions with residents was the rollout of Allo underground internet fiber. It is a great project to bring competition for high-speed internet to Erie!

As the CIO of BVSD, I was responsible for over 100 miles of fiber to our schools, so I have extensive experience managing third-party operators/vendors. I know it is imperative that contracts have clear and enforceable service-level agreements (SLAs).

On a scale of 0-10, how well did the Town of Erie oversee Allo this past year in terms of proactive communications, care in operation, and issue resolution?

Your voice matters, so please chime in!
